We Meetings are every 2nd Tuesday of the month, 7PM. All meetings are open to the public and new members are always welcome.

Today, 3 guys, a high schooler and a middle schooler hauled in all the lumber and got all the decking lumber laid down for our 60-foot bridge, and fixed up and added ramps to the old bridge at its new home!

This is by far the most expensive bridge project in Hollis Honkers history and the “Mrs. Moultins Bridge” has been a long time coming. A huge THANK YOU to everyone who has helped get this project moving and to everyone who came out today and last weekend to put in the work!

But we aren't done yet...

We have plenty of bridges that need repairs, miles of trails that need clearing, and a whole list of other projects that need to get done.

The good news is we have the lumber. We have the tools. We just need people!

If you have a little time to spare and want to help knock off some projects, let us know. You don't need to know exactly what you're doing — we'll tell you where to go and what needs to be done.

We have a few people confirmed but still need a few more people with strong backs and weak minds to help finish 2 bridges on the Stony Brook trail this Sunday.

Meet at 9:00 at 228 Cape Road (Hollis).

If you have a big UTV and can haul the lumber trailer, that would be a huge help.

We really need some younger help stepping up this year. The old guys that have been doing this for years are starting to have weaker backs and are finally starting to smarten up.

We see a lot of you out enjoying the trails every time it snows, so now is a good time to give a little back and help keep them open.

If you ride the trails, come give us a hand. You don't even need to know what you're doing, we'll teach you. Just show up and be willing to work.

I know we're barely into fall, but we're already hard at work getting ready for the upcoming winter. We are looking for your help this Sunday the 4th to deck a few bridges on the stony brook trail. This will consist of hauling the lumber in about a half a mile via atv and nailing it down. If you are able to please say so below or send us a message by Wednesday. We need to get a few more people to commit to help before ordering lumber. If we do get enough people together, we will be sure to share details where to meet up.

Please remember to vote YES on Question 17 today.

Your vote directs the small portion of snowmobile registration fees that could stay with the town to the Honkers. Receiving those funds for trail maintenance allows the club to use membership dues, donations, and other fundraising dollars for the many other things we do in the community. In fact, the amount is historically roughly equal to what we spend each year stuffing a full size SUV / cargo van full of fruit for the holiday baskets we put together and deliver to local senior citizens.

Join us tomorrow Tuesday April 14th 7pm for our April meeting at Lances garage 47 mailman way. Along with discussing highs and lows of last season and projects for this offseason we need to vote in positions for the year. Also, if you helped out with grooming or trail work last year please stop by so we can get you signature for the year end grant paperwork.

After talking to some key landowners and board members we have made the tough decision to close trails for the season. We simply lost to much snow to make it another weekend. There are lots of bare spots already and water holes will be opening up quickly. Thank you Landowners, volunteers, and everyone else who helped to make this season the best one in a long long time!
