HASD Alumni Association
The HASD Alumni Association has been in our community for over 50 years. Bill Pequignot did a remarkable job of recruiting members and hosting events. Unfortunately, after Bill passed away, not because efforts weren’t made, the Association began to fizzle. In 2015 a new director, Jodie (Zimmerman) Albarano, a 1996 graduate, was hired to run the HASD Foundation and the Alumni Association. With a database of over 20,000 names re-energizing the Alumni Association has been quite a task. We are so excited to connect and celebrate with our fellow alumni. The past three years we have hosted a bonfire after the Homecoming football game. This year we brought back the Distinguished Alumni Dinner where 3 of our alumni were recognized for their accomplishments and contributions to our community. If you would like to join the Alumni Association, you can visit www.hasdalumni.org. It is only $10 a year! Money raised goes to the HASD Alumni Association Scholarship Fund. This year we awarded $1,000 to graduating senior Jasmine Smith.
