This past Saturday, March 28th, Pack 3331 Troop 3031 proudly carried on a great tradition with their annual food drive in support of the Tiger Pack Program 🐯🥫

With teamwork, dedication, and a strong sense of community, these Scouts worked hard to collect donations that will help families in need 🤝💙 It’s inspiring to see young leaders step up, give back, and make a real difference right here at home 🌟

Fruits and vegetables add color, flavor and texture plus vitamins and minerals and dietary fiber to your plate. Make 2 cups of fruit and 2.5 cups of vegetables your daily goal; a great way to try and meet this goal is to fill half of your plate with fruits and vegetables. Add variety to your meals by experimenting with different types, including fresh, frozen and canned options.

School breakfast provides students with 48% or more of their daily needs for fruit, 30% or more of their daily needs for whole grains, and about 40% of their daily needs for dairy. Through free school breakfasts, all students in PA have the opportunity to fuel-up for the day.

Free school meals, like the School Breakfast Program, help to address child hunger in the United States. Currently, 14 million children in the U.S., including 475,000 children in Pennsylvania, don't know where their next meal will come from.

School breakfasts supplement the food that kids may receive at home. Children consume up to 50 percent of their daily calories at school. For kids facing hunger, school meals may be their only reliable food source. During , we're highlighting the importance of the availability of school breakfast to help students thrive both in and out of the classroom.
