We established this page to share with our community who the Holley Rotary Club is, what it does and who it supports. Our chapter is comprised of people just like you from Holley and surrounding communities who are interested in serving their fellow man through fundraising efforts and community works that benefit the greater good. We are proud to say that our club has grown in recent years and the
infusion of new, younger members offers the club a spirit of imagination to see things in a different way, to find new ways to serve, and new methods to keep our club strong and growing! Rotary serves the community in many ways that you may not know. We sponsor Scholarship Awards at Holley High School as well as charitable donations throughout the year to ensure that the people in our community who are most in need, do not have to go without. During the holidays, we adopt Christmas families, donate to other local charity group events and causes most importantly…we have fun doing it! But that is only the surface of what our club, and Rotary International as a whole aims to do. With the funds we raise, people in developing countries throughout the world have access to fresh, clean water and other services necessary to wipe out disease and hunger. Through the Rotary Foundation, we assist overseas in literacy programs, health and wellness initiatives, and student exchange programs (including our own Holley exchange student program) to promote a sense of Global Community. We help fund the Rotary Polio Plus international campaign with the goal of eradicating Polio from the face of the Earth before the end of the decade. Check us out sometime, you may be surprised.
