She leads the organization while supporting the staff and programs that help students and families in our community grow and thrive.

Still smiling thinking about our After School Recess Field Day from a few weeks ago ☀️

The kids spent the afternoon running, laughing, and making memories together. From friendly competition to cheering each other on, it was such a joy to watch their confidence grow.

🌟 Friday Feature: Meet Emily

Emily has been part of the Neighbors Plus team for 3 years. In her role, she teaches and mentors students in the Alternative Suspension Program and Study Hub and also tutors at two local middle schools.

Her passion for building relationships and mentoring students helps create a supportive environment where kids can learn, grow, and feel encouraged.

🌟 Friday Feature: Meet Courtney

Courtney joined the Neighbors Plus team in 2021 and became our Kids Hope and After School Recess Director in 2024.

She’s amazing with kids and works hard to create an environment where every child feels safe, included, and encouraged. Her warmth and energy help make our programs a place kids truly enjoy being.
