Big hearts, tiny hands.

Most of our Board Members came together today for our annual retreat, spending the day focused on strategic planning, organizational sustainability, and the future of Resilience. They also took time to have lunch with staff members and connect over the work we’re all so passionate about.

The conversations were impactful, but the tiny hands made their debut to bring a little extra fun to the day!

We’re grateful for our Board’s leadership, commitment, and big hearts behind the work as we keep planning for a strong, sustainable future for survivors and our community.

Behind every shift at our emergency shelter is someone who believes survivors deserve safety, support, and hope.

Here's what motivates Jessica, one of our Shelter Assistants:

" My why is because it takes all of us and it takes action, not just thinking that's sad and going about our lives, but taking an extra on-call job because the impact of each shift matters to the safety of the community. It just feels like common sense to me to be a part of the support that people deserve."

Working at our emergency shelter is more than a job. It's an opportunity to stand alongside survivors, provide compassionate support, and help create a safer community, one shift at a time.

If you're looking for meaningful work where your presence truly matters, we'd love to meet you.

What a team. đź’™

We spent the day connecting, recharging, and making space to put wellness first. In this work, caring for ourselves and caring for each other matters.

The work can be heavy, and having a team that stands beside you through the toughest moments makes all the difference. We’re grateful for this team and the time we shared together.
