Euro Hangar

Euro Hangar Like many great ideas, this show was born in a bar. Luckily a local airport, with ample space, was quick to get on board and support the endeavor.

A group of friends, driven by their love of European cars combined with liquid courage, set out to make their dream a reality. And thus, in late 2011, Euro Hangar came to fruition. The first show was held in 2012, and has been growing ever since. 2014 marked a time of numerous changes; the largest development being that Euro Hangar became a 501c3 non-profit organization. Proceeds from the show fun

d the upcoming year, aside from an annual gift given back to the airport. Support from the local community and all the help from volunteers has been a great asset that allows the show to continue. The juxtaposition of assorted elements makes Euro Hangar the unique event it is today- European-made cars, local vintage airport, and a picturesque lakeshore. Hosted at the Park Township Airport, with Holland and Lake Michigan just minutes away on either end, the laid back atmosphere of the show draws many different types and styles of cars: stanced, performance based, new, classic, exotic, track car, and many more. Don't forget to hop into one of the open-cockpit bi-planes to get a bird's eye view of them all! In addition to Euro Hangar, our hope is that show-goers will also experience everything the area has to offer. Downtown Holland is charming, boasting of a variety of restaurants and breweries, unique stores and galleries, overflowing tulip planters, brick sidewalks, and the infamous Windmill Island Gardens. On the other end, not far from the show grounds, are a handful of beaches peppered along the shores of Lake Michigan. We highly recommend checking out Tunnel Park and Holland State Park. Being a tourist hot spot, there are a number of hotels and vacation rental homes in Holland which will be posted on our website.

Euro Hangar: the Midwest's Original Airport Car Show

Like many great ideas, this show was born in a bar. A group of friends, driven by their love of European cars, fueled with liquid courage, set out to make their dream a reality. Luckily a local airport, with ample space, was quick to get on board and support the endeavor. And thus, in late 2011, Euro Hangar came to fruition.

The first show was held in 2012, and has been growing ever since. 2014 marked a period of growth; the largest development being that Euro Hangar became a 501c3 non-profit organization. Proceeds from the show fund the upcoming year, aside from an annual gift given back to the airport. Support from the local community and the amazing volunteer effort has been paramount in allowing the show to continue.

The juxtaposition that is Euro Hangar, is what makes it the unique event it is today—European-made cars, local vintage airport, and a picturesque lakeshore. Hosted at the Park Township Airport, with Holland and Lake Michigan just minutes away on either end, the show offers a laid-back atmosphere. Euro Hangar draws many different types and styles of cars: stanced, performance based, new, classic, exotic, track car, and many more. Every year we also try to feature an aviation focused amusement. So far we've hosted minor aerial acrobatics, open cockpit bi-planes, and sky diving.
