Yesterday, Chicks for Charity had the absolute JOY of presenting HOPE Toledo with a check and we couldn’t be more proud of what our Chicks have made possible!

We were thrilled to present our funds raised to HOPE Toledo for $21,312, supporting early childhood education and creating brighter opportunities for young learners across our community, including Dorise-Brown Fitness & Learning Academy and other early Pre-K centers.

Because investing in kids means investing in families, neighborhoods, and the future of Toledo.

To every Chick, sponsor, donor, Chicks Mix ticket-buyer, and cheerleader who helped make this possible THANK YOU!

We’re grateful for every person who helped turn a little fun into AWESOME community impact.

We are thrilled to announce Shannon Minoske has joined Chicks for Charity as our Executive Director Consultant!

Shannon is one of the original founders of CFC, going all the way back to 2006. She has been part of the heart and soul ever since.

In her new role, Shannon will lead our day-to-day operations, work closely with our Board of Trustees and help us continue spreading the simple idea Chicks was built on: You don’t have to be wealthy to be a philanthropist. EVERYONE can do something.

And of course, she’ll help make sure we keep doing it the Chicks way…fun, welcoming, organized and always focused on doing good!

Please join us in giving Shannon a HUGE welcome to her new role. We couldn’t be happier to have an OG Chick helping lead us into our next chapter!

Thank you again to everyone who joined us for Chicks Mix ‘26. What an incredible evening of fun, food, mingling, bidding on cool silent auction items, checking out the fabulous raffle baskets, and celebrating some awesome Chicks! ✨

Chicks Mix ’26: So Much Fun. So Much Good. (And yes…so much rain…again! ☔)
What a night! Thank you to all the Chicks, Junior Chicks and Honorary Chicks who joined us for an evening filled with friendship, laughter, generosity, and JOY.

A special congratulations to our AWESOME AWARD honorees—Amy Voigt, Marissa Morgan, Tiana Dorcely, Kristen Sanders, Sen. Paula Hicks-Hudson, and Junior Chick Miku Zolnor. Thank you for living our mantra and making our community brighter every day.

Together, we raised more than $20,000 for HOPE Toledo!

Chicks, if you've been thinking about nominating an amazing nonprofit for our 2027-28 charity partnership, NOW IS THE TIME!

Here's what's at stake: The organization we choose will be our partner for the next TWO YEARS (January 2027 through December 2028), which means:

✨ ALL money raised from Chicks fundraising activities benefits them
✨ ALL proceeds from Chicks Mix go straight to them
✨ They get a whole community of women cheering them on and lifting them up

This is HUGE for a nonprofit! We're talking serious funding + great visibility + awesome community support!

Know an incredible under-the-radar nonprofit doing incredible work but flying under the radar? One that could absolutely use this boost? NOMINATE THEM NOW! You have until June 30!
