Welcome to Westcore Neighbors where life is better together! We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Our neighborhood boundaries are in the city of Holland from River to Ottawa, 14th to 24th. We’re a group of volunteers, partners, citizens, and neighbors working tirelessly to make our neighborhood the best it can be. We’re dedicated to bringing people together to create a lasting sense of togetherness that will inspire future generations to make our neighborhood the best it can be!

Halloween doesn’t have to be expensive! 👻 Whether you’re looking for a costume for your little ones or something fun for yourself, Holland has several resale and thrift stores worth checking out.

🛍️ Local places to start your costume hunt:

🎃 Kid to Kid - secondhand children's clothing and unique finds. You can even sell your kid's clothes to them for store credit!

👻 Community Action House Resale – Shop secondhand and support our local community at the same time!

🧙 Gateway Mission Store – Browse affordable secondhand clothing and accessories.

🧛 ditto Upscale Resale – Check out their clothing selection for pieces to help create your own costume.

💡 Tip: You don’t need a complete costume! Try putting together an outfit from secondhand clothes and adding a few inexpensive accessories to create something unique. Get creative, reuse what you can, and save money!

Inventory changes often, so call ahead to ask about Halloween costumes and sizes before making a trip.

Nuestra Casa is looking better than ever! Thanks to our wonderful neighbors coming together, the wheelchair ramp has a fresh coat of paint, and the decking has been beautifully stained. 🎨🪵

It’s amazing what a little teamwork, community spirit, and a lot of heart can accomplish. We’re so grateful to everyone who showed up, rolled up their sleeves, and helped make Nuestra Casa look even more welcoming for all who visit.

This is what community is all about — neighbors helping neighbors and making a difference together! 💚🙌
