Over the years, so many of you have helped make Westcore feel like home by hosting block parties, checking in on neighbors, and serving as block connectors. We’re so grateful for the ways you’ve shown up! This spring, we’re building on that momentum with something new.
Introducing the Core Collective, a 5-month, hands-on initiative (June–October) bringing community-minded neighbors together to listen, learn, and take action across all 62 blocks of Westcore.
Here’s what to expect:
✨ Two gatherings each month, June-Oct
✨ Meeting and talking with neighbors
✨ Shared meals and conversation as a group
✨ Learning from local community leaders about the work of community engagement
✨ Contributing to new neighbor-led action in Westcore
Each month, we’ll focus on a different section of Westcore, ensuring every block is seen, heard, and connected. By October, we’ll compile what we’ve learned into a community listening report and celebrate with a final gathering, while building on relationships that have begun along the way.
