Tonight’s class with will be half slow flow, half yin. We’ll work through a flow in the first half and spend the second half of class settling in to floor-based poses for 3-5 minutes each. This allows your brain time to tell your body that you are safe, so your muscles can relax and you get a deeper stretch. You’ll be ready for bed after this class. We’ll be using bolsters, blocks, straps, and blankets! See you tonight at 6pm

Starting April 12th, Kortlyn will be leading a special Sunday series at Yoga Club at Dutch Roots Studio inspired by The Four Agreements.
Each week, class will be gently themed around one of the four agreements through a short dharma talk, followed by a grounding, all-levels practice. After class, we’ll hold space for an optional 30-minute conversation to reflect, connect, and explore the ideas together.
The Four Agreements, based on the teachings of Don Miguel Ruiz, offers a simple yet powerful guide to personal freedom:
• Be impeccable with your word
• Don’t take anything personally
• Don’t make assumptions
• Always do your best
You do not need to be reading the book to join—just come as you are.
If finding time to read is a challenge for you, the audio book version is just as good! Sundays starting April 12th. We’d love to have you there
