Not Just Numbers

Not Just Numbers Some people will come into your life unexpectedly and change the course of it forever. That’s a big change. Which is why I am starting a non- profit.

Not Just Numbers is a nonprofit foundation that strives to educate and inform foster and adoptive parents on how to take care of highly textured and ethnic hair. When my parents told me I was going to be a big sister to not one but three kiddos I was terrified. Through this experience my eyes have been opened bigger than I ever could have thought. The Not Just Numbers(NJN) Non-Profit will be fully

launched in the fall of 2022 and I am so excited. NJN will be educating foster and adoptive parents on how to take care of highly textured and ethnic hair. This non-profit strives to remind every kid that they are not just numbers and that they are beautifully made and have a purpose for their life. We want to make sure the parents have every tool to help their kids feel confident in their skin and they know how to take care of them.

“How did you come up with the name?” I knew when I created this non profit I wanted to incorporate the names of the kids who inspired this. These are the names of my little siblings and the reason why we are here. I never want another kid to feel the way that they did. Every kid deserves to feel like more than just a number and beautiful in their own skin🤍

Some people will come into your life unexpectedly and change the course of it forever. When my parents told me I was going to be a big sister to not one but three kiddos I was terrified. That’s a big change. Now I see more and more why God chose my parents for those kids. Through this experience my eyes have been opened bigger than I ever could have thought. Which is why I am starting a non- profit. The Not Just Numbers(NJN) Non-Profit will be fully launched in the fall of 2022 and I am so excited. Follow along our social media pages(which will launch by the end of the week) to keep up to date with our successes.
