Those who have attended our events may have met some of our dedicated Linkage artists, who have joined panels, led tours, and shared their work and their experiences. This summer, Linkage will be forming their own, independent organization. Here's a message from the community:
"After years of growing, learning, and leading from inside the University of Michigan’s Prison Creative Arts Project, the Linkage Community is stepping into a new chapter. We’re officially launching as an independent organization—and we want YOU with us!
Together, we’ve created something rare: not just a support group, not just a reentry service, but a statewide creative network rooted in dignity, expression, and real connection.
This is our graduation.
This is our launch.
And this is your invitation—not just to the celebration, but to the movement.
Linkage is emerging with strength, vision, and momentum. What we’ve built is already transforming lives. Now we’re bringing that vision out into the world—with your support.
We’re not just graduating.
We’re stepping into our power, owning our voices, and leading forward."
