Farm 2 Table Project began its mission as a Simple Concept, If you can't feed 100 People then Feed just 1. We have always believed that if every 1 Person Fed just 1 Person then we could as a whole, Stamp out Hunger. Our Garden sit

s on just under 1 Acre with a Dedicated Expansion that will grow Fresh Vegetables and Fruits for 7 Nonprofit Organizations in the Central Arkansas area. These Organizations are, Arkansas Hunger Relief Alliance, CAPCA, Soul Food Cafe Mission, Bethlehem House, Conway Ministry Center, Farm to School Program of Central Arkansas, Roots United. This Garden has brought much needed relief to Families in Need and with the expansion (just at 3/4 of an acre) this will give other Organizations Feeding Families and Veterans the Much needed food they Deserve. The Only thing we Ask is, Take what we Grow and Feed your Family. You Deserve This.

Hope everyone is ready for the next 2 weeks.....
100+ degs with the Feel Like 106 to 114.
14 days of extensive heat and not much rain if any is in the forecast.
With the August outlook looking the way it is, is not good for Arkansas to go into winter without being in a surplus of Rain.
Hopefully we will get the rain we need to bring us out of any drought

Has anyone else noticed how the days seem to move slower since CERN shutdown.
Time was going by so fast and now it seems normal.

UV Warning.... with the last week of 10 on the UV Scale (very High), this week we will see the UV's get into the 11 and 12, (extreme) this can cause the plants to experience heavy stress, Leaf Wilt to reserve as much water as possible. These UV's can also force the plant to stop producing Female Flowers and begin Bloom Drop to reserve energy.
As much as Okra loves the heat, it does not like the high UV's.
So this week with the levels being 11 and 12 for a extended period of time, numerous things will come together to make it 10 times harder on your plants, Extreme UV, High Temps and High Humidity.
Remember to not fertilize right now and if your going to water do it in the evening or early morning where the plants have enough time to take the water in to last for the day.

We have a 250 gal Tote in Cage that were wanting to raise up.
