The Welcome to Holiday Island sign is still progressing. David Dobrin helped Randy Rahlf finish cleaning the highest parts of the sign and they also put on a new coat of paint. It is now awaiting the sign (under development) and some non-rainy, non-windy weather.

This week's guest speaker at Berryville Rotary was Connect 4 Director James Knight. James gave an update on all things Connect 4 - whose mission is college credit, career paths, and job placement assistance for Carroll County high schoolers. C4 courses serve Berryville, Green Forest, and Eureka Springs schools with a focus on hands-on training & preparing students for a future specifically in trade industries. Thank you James for joining us and telling us all about the ways C4 serves our local students!

The Eureka Springs Senior Scholarship and Recognition Ceremony saw the Holiday Island Rotary Club award three students with scholarships worth $2400 each, disbursed over four semesters.

Holiday Islanders, we appreciate the contributions to our community’s flag program, which has enabled these awards and beautified our city as well.

The scholarship committee, led by Suzanne Childers, was responsible for the selection, distribution, and allocation of the scholarships.

President Elect Terry Bushay presented the awards to Winona Milwagon, Amadeus Cummings, and Isabella Cooley.

The citizens of Holiday Island proudly recognize the achievements of all of these Seniors, who have successfully completed high school. It’s an amazing accomplishment!

Join Rotary and you will join . We do good in our community, our country, and our world.
