Today we’d like to thank the Bulls behind the scenes who help Holderness succeed, especially at this busy time of year. From Commencement to Reunion, a team of departments - Buildings & Grounds, Dining Services, Housekeeping, Technology and others - join forces to make sure so many events run smoothly and the campus looks its absolute best. We’re so grateful for the work they do for Holderness - not just in this busy season, but all year long.

Last week, rising seniors in the Outdoor Leadership Program woke up well before dawn to bushwhack up a steep ridge in Franconia Notch. These students will set the course for the school’s outdoor excursions - leading groups on Mountain Day and proposing, designing, and leading Outing Club trips throughout the school year.

The college athletic recruiting process can feel overwhelming but the right approach can make all the difference.

The Holderness College Counseling Office breaks down 10 essential tips every student-athlete and family interested in college athletics should know. Recruiting isn’t just about earning an offer; it’s about finding a college community where you can thrive athletically, academically, and personally.

The college athletic recruiting process can feel both exciting and overwhelming for student-athletes and their families. Between highlight videos, campus visits, eligibility rules, and constant communication, it’s easy to lose sight of what truly matters.

From nervous first days on campus to crossing the crest at Commencement, your years here were filled with the moments that make memories: cheering under the lights, Tenney Ball, Barton Olympics, relaxing in the signature blue adirondack chairs, Out Back trips, Chapel talks, dorm hang-ins, for some brave students–a cold plunge in the pond, and hearing “H-O-L, D-E-R, N-E-S-S” echo across campus one more time.

You showed up for each other in classrooms, on fields, stages, trails, mountains, and in the moments in between. You learned that growth comes through challenge, that community matters, and that the people beside you help shape who you become.

No matter where life takes you next, Holderness will always be part of you. Once a Bull, always a Bull. 🤍💙
