Well another year to marching band has gone..Not as exciting as all the kids had hope it would be. The many hours and sweat and some tears were not all lost in vain . They will have hundreds of memories and stories to tell there friends, parents, and their kids years to come. As a parent of a Sr. you learn a lot about your kids in the friends they choose and they activities they participate in school. If you would have told me as a parent of a 13 yearold wanting to play band. I'm ashamed to say that i told him he would quit after the 1st year. I guess he proved me wrong. If you have a child, grandchild, nephew,sister,brother,or just friend I would recommend them to look into joining Band. HOLDENVILLE the Town and Public Schools should be extremely Proud of the job Sam Crosby and Sarah Kiper has done for the school. We couldn't have asked for two better people and teacher to educate our kids in HOLDENVILLE. So if you see a band kid today or next week tell them how proud you are of them... They might need it.. They are some of best kids HOLDENVILLE has. God Bless Holdenville Golden Pride.
