We had such a nice dinner to wrap up the year at tonight's Annual Meeting. Thank you to President Jenni DiMauro, Treasurer, Margaret Mertzic, Secretary, Andrea Leroux and all of our volunteer leaders for all your hard work, and thank you to all of our members for bringing your energy and ideas to the Woman's Club. We look forward to enjoying many more lovely events with everyone next year. 🌷💕

Last night we enjoyed catching up and creating beautiful butterfly paintings while sipping delicious ciders and wines at Agronomy Farm Vineyard. A huge thank you to our President Jenni DiMauro for putting together this fun spring project.

The next Barre Woman's Club event will be held on Thursday, April 9th at 6PM at Agronomy Farm Vineyard in Oakham, MA.

On March 12th, members of the Barre Woman’s Club enjoyed a wonderful visit to the Barre Massachusetts Historical Society! We had the opportunity to tour three buildings filled with incredible historical treasures and artifacts that tell the story of our town. It was fascinating to learn about some of the important innovations and contributions that have come from Barre throughout history.
We would like to extend a sincere thank you to the Barre Historical Society for the care and dedication they put into preserving Barre’s rich history and for sharing it with our community. We truly appreciate the work you do to keep our town’s story alive!

Due to the impending snow tonight, we have decided to postpone tonight’s meeting at the Barre Senior center featuring Dr. Brian Biscelia to a future date. More to come shortly stay safe and warm.

Join the Barre Woman's Club on February 10th at 6 pm at the Barre Senior Center for a public event focused on protecting seniors from online scams. Featured speaker Dr. Brian Bisceglia—a nationally recognized cybersecurity expert and law enforcement officer, will share vital tips and real-world insights on online safety. Dr. Bisceglia holds a Ph.D. in Cybersecurity Management from Nova Southeastern University, with research focusing on the human element of security, social engineering, and SMiShing (SMS phishing) susceptibility. He has developed cybersecurity training curricula for vulnerable groups like seniors, and his work has appeared in academic publications examining persuasion principles and user behavior during cyber-attacks. Dr. Bisceglia also earned a Master's degree in Applied Computer Science and a bachelor’s in electronic engineering technology from Wentworth Institute of Technology. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to learn how to stay secure in today’s digital world!

We had such a wonderful time today at the Center at Eagle Hill! The Nuncracker, a production by the Gilbert Players, was absolutely delightful — hilarious, quirky, and filled with just the right touch of Christmas magic. 🎄💃l
thank-you to everyone who joined us for this fun holiday outing. It was the perfect way to kick off the season together! ❤️

Thank you so much Lucy Allen for your wonderful presentation tonight on the Naramore Murders. Your depth of research, storytelling, and compassion brought the history to life in such a powerful way. It was clear that everyone in the room was deeply moved and enriched by your words.
As Senator Brewer so aptly said, you truly are a Barre treasure. Your dedication to preserving and sharing our local history ensures that the stories of those who came before us continue to be heard and understood.
