Extend learning by talking with your child about what’s going on. For instance, if you’re walking to the bus station with your child in the stroller, you might invite your child to look for (or think of) other things that are green (leaves, lights, cars).

Moms and dads provide warm, nurturing relationships for their baby in early life. This helps your baby learn empathy, cooperation, and self-regulation. These are the skills that will help them in school and as adults.

Tonight was the first Parents As Teachers and Preschool Activity Night. I made pumpkin pie 🥧 scented play dough. The kids had a blast playing with the play dough, creating pumpkins and making apples and listening to a book about fall. Our next activity night is November 13th. Join us!
