CONGRATULATIONS to Halle Jones as she is the recipient of the 2025 Jordan Ottaway Memorial Scholarship! Halle is leaving her mark in the Longhorn Legacy, and it is an impressive one both in the classroom and on the court. Halle possesses great leadership and character and she is someone who truly lead her teammates and program and had the future lady longhorns look up to her throughout her career. It was easy to tell she had a ton of fun on the court! She is someone that Jordan would have loved to watch play! Halle is going to continue her academic and basketball career at Bethany College and we can’t wait to follow her career and wish her the best!

The Holcomb High School class of ‘25 had several great applicants, and we want to congratulate them also on their accomplishments academically and athletically, but mainly for their legacy and marks they’re also leaving behind!

We would like to congratulate Damon Mesa as the winner of the 2024 Jordan Ottaway Memorial Scholarship! Damon has been a Longhorn through and through and has exemplified what this means through his academic, athletic and leadership achievements over the past four years. It was fun to watch Damon grow and succeed during his high school career, and we know Jordan would be proud of his success. Damon will continue his academic and athletic career next year as he is set to play football for Butler County CC! We congratulate Damon on his upcoming graduation from HHS and wish him the best in his next phase of life beyond high school!

This is the third scholarship winner of our young award granted to a Holcomb High School Student-Athlete in Jordan’s name. The HHS Class of 2024 had SEVERAL great applicants and made this a close race. We also want to thank all that applied and congratulate them on their graduation next weekend and wish them all the success!

We're happy to announce that the 2024 Jordan Ottaway Memorial Scholarship is open! As always, there is a great group of seniors in this years class and we want to have as many applicants apply as possible.

We've had a great first two years of giving back in honor of Jordan, and we are excited to keep this rolling into year three!

Additional Information will be sent to the high school after the break, but feel free to PM us for more info and share away as we don't want any students/parents to not know about this (it's happened) or think they wouldn't meet the guideline criteria.

We would like to congratulate Chris Palacios as the winner of the 2023 Jordan Ottaway Memorial Scholarship! Chris has exemplified dedication and leadership through Holcomb Athletics and Academics throughout his high school career. It was a lot of fun watching Chris grow and generate success over the past four years. Our friend Jordan would be proud of your accomplishments over your career! Chris is a true definition of a home grown a Longhorn and we congratulate him on his graduation from HHS this Saturday and we wish him all the best wishes in his future endeavors!

The 2023 Jordan Ottaway Memorial Scholarship application is now open. We are looking forward to hearing from all of the 2023 applicants and another year of giving back to a Holcomb High School Graduate in honor of Jordan!

We had a great first year that wouldn't have been possible without the generous support and contributions from several businesses, individuals, families and friends.

Daegan VanPelt was selected as the inaugural winner in 2022 and he just finished a stellar Freshman Cross Country Season at GCCC where he got to compete in the NJCAA National Championships in Tallahassee, Florida--very Jordan like. We know he was proud of this one.
