Join Us Saturday, June 13th for Islip Town’s 8th Annual SeaFest!

Come enjoy live music, great food, beautiful bay views, and more from 2:00 pm – 8:00 pm. Admission is free, and a shuttle bus will be available.

Vendor spaces are still available and are coordinated EXCLUSIVELY through the Town of Islip Cultural Affairs Office at (631) 224-5430. Interested vendors should contact the office to inquire and confirm participation. Please be aware, there are no other authorized organizers. Vendor spots can ONLY be acquired through contact with the Town's Cultural Affairs Department.

Islip's Summer Fun Series Kicks Off in 2 Weeks!

Starting June 17th, the Town will be hosting FREE movies and concerts in parks around Islip! First up is a concert by Rock & Roll band Rich Mahogany. Be sure to stop by at Brookwood Hall in East Islip, food trucks arrive at 5:00pm and the show starts at 7:00pm.

📢 UPDATE:
Good news, neighbors! Following up on our previous post regarding the Amazon delivery vans causing traffic backups by using the Broadway Ave entrance, we have some great updates from the Suffolk County Police Department 5th Precinct COPE Unit.

An officer personally visited the Holbrook Amazon facility this morning and spoke directly with the delivery station management to address the community's concerns.

Here is what is being done to fix it:

What happened: Amazon had previously installed physical barriers inside the parking lot to block vans from using the Broadway entrance, but those barriers had broken.

The fix: The barriers have now been officially repaired and fixed. Vans should no longer be able to cut through to the building via Broadway.

A huge thank you to the SCPD 5th Precinct for their quick response and proactive community policing! We will continue to keep an eye on the traffic flow over the next few days. Thanks for speaking up, everyone!

Close supervision, secure barriers, and knowing what to do in an emergency can help save a life. This summer, Suffolk County Department of Fire, Rescue and Emergency Services encourages everyone to learn CPR and basic lifesaving skills through their local Fire Department or EMS agency.

The actions you take in the first few moments of an emergency can make all the difference.
