Bucket of Blood Re-enactors We are a group of people who love the history of the old American West. So we dress up in period cos After the Civil War, many came west looking for a new start.

To settle the country these people endured hardships that most cannot conceive. The cattlemen came to a hard country with no law and natives that did not want them on this land. This gave birth to the American Cowboy and all that comes with him, hard work and little pay. Outlaws and heroes that make up the history of this era are so important to America. These are the men and women that the Bucket

of Blood Re-Enactors want to keep alive and be remembered. The Performers are bound by a love of the Western frontier as well as a love for history and their fellow human beings.

Fascinating article on corsets. I try to be somewhat authentic in my dresses but I've never worn a corset. I have a feeling the best and most comfortable would be a corset made by an expert to your exact measurements.

Some say the undergarment of centuries past is not nearly as evil or confining as modern folks have come to believe.

Our meetings are now on the 2nd Saturday of the month. That means we will be meeting this Saturday January 12th at 2pm at the old Courthouse. Everyone is invited!

A few changes to Wild West Days this year - The main event is being moved to September 29! In honor of our Holbrook Heritage we will have a tribute to our wild west past and have a great art project utilizing the local ranchers brands to create a branding wall. Along with bonfires and cowboy stories it will be a great event.
July 13-14 we are still bringing back our fun Escape Room at the historic courthouse and jail, you can register here to be locked up :-)
