The H.U.B. (Hope Unity Belief) Center for Success is a program where the goal is to keep at-risk youth in our communities and out of detention. It is a strength-based approach created through the combined efforts of the Navajo County Juvenile Probation Department and the Navajo County Instruction for Success High School (NCIS). Students enrolled in the NCIS School can recover high school credits needed to earn their high school diploma. Once the school day is over, the students attend the life skills classes held in the Holbrook Probation Office. Classrooms have been developed in this area to include a state-of-the-art music room and recording studio, an art and photography center, library and computer lab, and a kitchen/laundry room. Daily life skills are taught, with a hope that the students will find something positive that interests them. Transportation is provided to school and home from life skills daily from Dilkon to Show Low and all the communities in between.
