✨ Meet the Team: Alexandra Reisner, President ✨

Originally from Massachusetts and now proud to call Hoisington, Kansas home, Alexandra joined Kans for Kids in 2023 after instantly connecting with the organization’s mission and heart for helping local families.

As a daycare owner and mother of two, children and families are at the center of everything she does. Having seen the impact cancer can have on loved ones firsthand, Alexandra is passionate about supporting families during some of their hardest moments.

Her compassion, leadership, and dedication continue to make a meaningful difference in the lives of the children and families Kans for Kids serves. 💛

I would like to give a shout out to everyone who participated in the 11th annual Grove Park Golf Tournament. To the golfers, the sponsors, the businesses and individuals who donated auction items and the food.
A special thank you to Ryan Alefs for hosting the tournament each year and the Grove Park staff for their hospitality. Last but not least, our own board member Mackenzie Nelson, who was chair person for this event and all the other board members and volunteers who attended. The weather was absolutely gorgeous and it was " the best day ever!"

✨ Meet the Director — Mary Dutton✨

Mary Dutton has served as the Director of Kans for Kids since March 2026, bringing with her years of experience and a deep commitment to supporting children and families. She previously served on the organization’s board from 2013 to 2020, demonstrating a long-standing dedication to its mission.

Mary and her husband, Steve, share a blended family of seven children and thirteen grandchildren. After retiring from many years of service to children and families across multiple counties in Kansas, Mary is excited to step into her new role. She looks forward to working alongside the current board of directors and connecting with Kans for Kids families—past and present—to continue making a meaningful difference.
