Home is where the heart is and a Tortoise carries theirs everywhere they go
A Tortoise takes the time to think twice
A Tortoise is never in too much of a hurry to help :)
At West End Center the children can join Tortoise Pack and participate in projects and activities. We meet once a week. Reading adventures with good moral messages accompanied by coordinated art project activities, performing Good Deeds where ever we identify a need and respond together. For example we organized a food drive. The children collected 574 lbs. of food which was distributed by our local Salvation Army. They also made and sent Christmas cards to troops in Afghanistan, and On Veterans day they made a banner and sent a www shout out to Veterans everywhere. They are currently involved in launching a Pen Pal Program with the , as well as being ongoing participation in the Community GOOD Project. This is a large garden
