Employment & Training Services was created to be a central employment resource center that would service Native American job seekers by assisting in their job search. Designed as a one stop shop for Job Seekers, Employment & Training services include:

- Computer lab
- Resume and cover letter assistance
- Mock interviews
- Online application assistance
- Employment/Employer referrals
- Training opportunities and financial assistance

SUNY Canton will be offering two options for the pre-assignment security guard training in June and October. Could you please share with anyone who might be interested in obtaining their license for employment? We can also schedule the 90-day or annual training this summer if you have anyone in need.

SUNY Canton's Pre Assignment Security Guard Training is your first step into the world of professional security. In the 8-hour focused course, you’ll learn the essentials every new guard needs to obtain a NYS license — from situational awareness to legal responsibilities — all taught by Al Mulkin, an experienced DCJS approved instructor. Ready to make a difference, challenge yourself, and become part of an exciting profession that helps people every single day? The Clarkson University EMS Education Department is now accepting registrations for our Fall EMT Course!

This comprehensive Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) program is designed for individuals looking to begin a rewarding career in Emergency Medical Services or simply gain valuable lifesaving skills and experience.

🚑 Course Details:
•Class Dates: August 24th – December 5th
•Class Schedule: Mondays & Wednesdays from 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM and one Saturday per month
•Location: Clarkson Hall, 59 Main Street, Potsdam, New York
•Cost: $1,050 per student
