Dance World

Dance World is a not-for-profit membership-based organization promoting all forms of dance, including but not limited to Ballroom, Latin, Hustle and Swing.

Dances normally take place on the second Saturday of each month.

Join us June 13 at 7:30 for a romantic evening learning the Night Club 2 from Josh Torres. This smooth, swaying, graceful dance is often done to ballads. General ballroom dancing follows until 10:30. All levels of dancers are encouraged.
Complimentary snacks and water are provided in the lobby and there is convenient parking.

Come in from the cold. Joseph Lim has a hot Cha Cha lesson planned for our January 10 dance. Learning is fun, so we will brush up on the basics, learn some styling and a new step. All levels of dancers are welcome.
Dancing is on a large wooden floor to favorite music from Latin, Smooth, Rhythm and an occasional line dance.
Fees: $10 members, $15 guests, membership $20/yr. which includes that night's entrance fee. Cash or check please.

Celebrate this merriest of seasons with us starting at 7:30 with a Foxtrot lesson by Josh Torres. At 8:15 general ballroom music will play for your dancing enjoyment on the enormous wooden floor. We cover Smooth, Latin, Rhythm and a few line dances. All levels of dancers are encouraged.

November 15 is a third Saturday when we will enjoy a terrific Tango taught by Joseph Lim. The lesson is from 7:30 to 8:15 followed by general ballroom until 10:30. The playlist for this night is a reflection of the recommendations from our members and guests. Most of the music is old time favorites with some new selections. I couldn't source all the the suggestions, but I tried to give a nod to everyone's wishes.

We're planning a howling good hustle lesson with Susan Cole starting at 7:30. Susan is an experienced teacher who will cover the basics and give tips on technique. General ballroom follows at 8:15 until 10:30. All levels of dancers are encouraged.
