Mason continues to be sweet and look comfortable but he’s not moving around a lot, not leaving his paddock and not meeting a lot of the other pigs. I am sure it is a little overwhelming because this is so different than where he was before and his eyesight is not good. But he is eating and drinking well and absolutely enjoys getting attention from me. 🤗

Like many distinguished older gentlemen, he relishes compliments (especially from sexy muck booted serving wenches.) Look at the way he shows off his snout fuzz after I compliment it. I think his might rival Hamilton’s which was very impressive. 😎💕😂

You know how it is… You try to raise them right and teach them to be good citizens but sometimes they just go astray and join a gang. I told Ruby when she made it clear she was interested in the notorious DLG (dry lot gang) that she would end up behind bars!

I’m not sure exactly what happened but I am sure that Flash and Jed or involved. Now, all three have a record. 😱🤪💕

When will they learn? I’m always right! 🤪

It’s been a while but I have posted several videos of me trying to coax Nicholas to the fence. Nicholas is completely blind and has been gentle, sweet and cooperative from the minute he got here. But, like all blind animals, it took him a while to learn the the geography of his pasture and the fence line made him a little apprehensive.

I always consider it a great show of trust when a blind horse puts his head over the fence. That makes him completely vulnerable and shows me that he truly trusts me. Jasmine and Nova have been doing it for a long time now but it’s not like Nicholas can even watch them and learn. I knew he would figure it out though. He’s very smart.

I no longer have to coax him over. Now, he waits for me at the gate when he hears me coming! 🙌🏻💕🤗

It looks like we will be famous anytime now when our sweet Melvin - a gelded (castrated) male donkey- gives birth! 🎉👏🏼🥳 We will all be famous! 😎

As anyone who has had a baby knows, that tail end of pregnancy can be exhausting so Melvin has to sit down and take a load off every now and then. 🤪

FYI, I took that second picture as soon as he stood up just to prove to people that he’s not as fat as he looks. The power of the camera angle and the position of the subject make a big difference. 😜
