Dear Heart of Hope Family-
Heart of Hope was busy behind the scenes in 2023. We distributed over $20,000 to heart families and sent a beautiful family on a new memory making getaway.
Heart of Hope has had an amazing time over the years with different fundraising events- everything from Zumba-thons, Craft Fairs, and Dine-to-Donates to 5K’s, Wine Tastings, and the ever-popular Annual Benefit Dinner. Through the years the Benefit Dinner has been our main focus, with months of planning and countless hours spent on this labor of love. After 10 amazing Benefit dinners, the time has come for us to focus on maintaining the resources and funding we’ve accumulated. Sadly, we have decided to put the task of benefit planning aside for the time being, and are considering milestone years for future benefit fundraisers.
Our loyal community has significantly blessed HOH so that we can and will continue to support pediatric heart transplant families through their transplant journey as well as provide families with new memory making experiences and maintain current cardiac center programs. As we continue to fund our mission, please continue to think of Heart of Hope for your donations or charitable giving!
We cannot thank you enough for helping Heart of Hope grow into the amazing organization it has become today. We will use the time typically spent on planning and preparing the benefit to focus on Cara’s brother Ryan. Ryan has been alongside us for this entire journey, and we are incredibly proud of the young man he is becoming. We are grateful for each moment spent together and each memory made with him.
