Tonight, I watched a dream come to life. 💛

Today was the official first class of our RTS Adult ESL Program, and my heart is so full.

My mission with RTS has always been to support families full circle, the child and the parent. Tonight, while our students were next door receiving tutoring, their parents were in this room learning a new language.

Seeing the excitement on the children’s faces knowing that their parents were learning too, was something I will never forget. Different ages, different backgrounds, but the same passion for learning.

All glory to God. 🙏🏽 I am witnessing things that, at one point, I could only dream about.

A very special thank you to our amazing instructor, Mr. Osvaldo Valdez, for believing in this mission and bringing his experience, dedication, and passion to our community. I am beyond grateful to have you as part of RTS.

And we’re just getting started. 💛

Interested in joining our Adult ESL classes? We still have a few spaces available, but enrollment is limited.

This is what RTS is about: families learning, growing, and moving forward, TOGETHER. 📚

🎉💛 RTS Learning Foundation is ONE! 💛🎉

September 11, 2025 → September 11, 2026

I almost let today pass without realizing what today represents. One year ago today, RTS Learning Foundation began. 🥹

What started as a vision to create more educational opportunities for our community has grown into more than I could have imagined in just ONE year.

📚 K-8 tutoring and academic intervention
☀️ Our first summer program serving 35 students
💰 $50,000 HB2 Out-of-School-Time award
📖 $7,500 Dollar General Adult Literacy Grant
🌟 $4,000 Dollar General Youth Literacy Grant
🎓 The launch of our Adult ESL program
🤝 An official partnership with LCPB for Adult GED programming
🎓 A growing partnership with USW, providing practicum and service opportunities for university students

And we are still building. ❤️

A very special thank you to my board members for showing up, guiding me through this process, believing in our mission, and most importantly, trusting the vision. Whether near or far, your support has been part of this journey, and I am so grateful I haven’t had to build this alone.

To our staff, tutors, instructors, families, students, adult learners, partners, and funders, thank you for saying YES to RTS.

And to our community, thank you for trusting us, referring families to us, sharing our name, supporting our programs, and believing that RTS has a place here. 💛

There were times when I couldn’t see what was ahead, but I knew His plans were bigger than mine. One year later, I understand that more than ever.

Every open door. Every connection. Every opportunity. Every person placed along this journey.

To God be ALL the glory! 🙏

September 11, 2025, was only the beginning.

Happy 1st Anniversary, RTS Learning Foundation Inc.! 🎂💛💙

Year ONE - and we’re just getting started. 🚀

Our RTS Learning Foundation Open House was a wonderful turnout, and my heart is FULL! 💙📚

A huge THANK YOU to our incredible staff for believing in the vision, showing up, and helping make this possible. What started as a vision continues to grow because of people who believe in the mission.

To our parents and families, thank you for trusting us with something so important — your children’s education. We do not take that responsibility lightly. ❤️

And we are so excited to welcome all of the participants who are now officially enrolled in our Adult ESL Program! 🎓🌎

The mission of RTS Learning Foundation is to provide educational support full circle — supporting children, empowering parents and adult learners, and strengthening families through education.

Tonight was another reminder that we are building something special together.

Here’s to the start of another GREAT year at RTS! 📚✨
