June is Men’s Mental Health Awareness Month. This month—and every month—we stand with the men in our community who are carrying more than they show.

Checking in, speaking up, and asking for help are signs of strength. Let’s keep breaking the silence and building a culture where mental health is openly supported.

We had an incredible time attending the Salvation Army’s 🌞Summer Bash community events in Hobbs and Lovington on June 1st and 2nd. A huge thank‑you to every team member who stepped up to represent us! Our community truly values seeing our staff out and engaged—it builds visibility, trust, and connection.

Events like these open the door for meaningful nonprofit collaboration and give us the chance to meet people where they are. Your presence matters, and it makes a real impact for current and future clients.

Happy National Nurses Day!

As we celebrate National Nurses Week (May 6–12), we honor The Power of Nurses—the strength, compassion, and expertise that shape healthier communities every day.

To every nurse who shows up with skill, heart, and unwavering dedication: thank you for the impact you make, one patient, one family, one moment at a time.

And to our incredible nurses here at Guidance Center of Lea County, Inc., we see you, we appreciate you, and we are deeply grateful for the care, stability, and hope you bring to those we serve. Your work changes lives.

Happy Teacher Appreciation Week! This week is all about our teachers! The early mornings. The late nights. The extra time you give without ever being asked. The patience, the creativity, the care you bring into your classroom every single day. It doesn't go unnoticed, and it doesn't go unappreciated.

Teachers shape more than lesson plans. You shape confidence, curiosity and the way your students see the world. That kind of impact stays with them long after the school year ends.

We just want to say thank you!
