This is related to our word, "donation", but also includes sharing, selfless giving without worrying about getting something in return. Practicing dana by making a donation of money, time and/or labor allows us to continue offering the teachings to others without cost. Preparing the Sacred Pirith Noola Blessing Threads.

With faith and loving-kindness, volunteers are preparing the Pirith Noola (Blessing Threads) to be placed in the Pirith Mandapa and blessed through the chanting of the Venerable Monks. These sacred threads symbolize protection, blessings, and the power of wholesome intentions.

The blessed Pirith Noola will be shared with all visitors throughout the weekend, from Friday through Sunday.
