🌿 What a beautiful year this has been.
This little group of children became a true school family — learning together, playing together, caring for butterflies and tadpoles, listening to stories, singing folksongs, making art, asking endless questions, and growing in ways both visible and invisible.
One of the things I love most about MindGarden is that it never feels like children are being rushed through childhood. There is room here for wonder, relationship, movement, imagination, meaningful work, and joyful learning. Watching these children settle into relationship with one another, with nature, with stories, and with the world around them has been such a gift.
I’m incredibly grateful to our families for trusting us with their children this year, and deeply thankful for Miss Jessica, whose warmth, steadiness, creativity, and love for children helped shape our classroom every week. 💚
As we look ahead to next year, we still have a few openings remaining for families who feel drawn to this kind of learning environment.
MindGarden is an inclusive, relationship-centered homeschool enrichment program inspired by Charlotte Mason, developmental science, attachment theory, play, nature, living books, art, music, and meaningful connection. We meet children as whole people — not just students.
If you’ve been curious about MindGarden, I’d love to meet you. Families interested in next fall are welcome to reach out to schedule a tour, visit the space, and chat with me (Miss B!) about whether MindGarden might be a good fit for your child and family. 🌱
We are also beginning to look for additional adults to grow alongside us as our community expands — teachers, assistants, and caring mentors who genuinely enjoy children and resonate with our philosophy. You do not need a traditional teaching degree. We’re much more interested in adults who are warm, emotionally grounded, collaborative, capable of leading children with kindness and confidence, and excited about creating an atmosphere of wonder and belonging.
Thank you to everyone who helped make this first year so special. The roots of something beautiful are growing here. 🌿
