The PGA litter has arrived safely in NE. They are all set to go to their new families. This litter, hopefully, is the last of the Dogs and Puppies that we will have to get off this property in Bledsoe County. We’ve gotten about 50 dogs/puppies off the property and everybody is safe. This particular area is a dumping ground for dogs. We sure do wish people would spay and neuter their animals and stop dumping them. Just such a bad situation!
Happy lives sweet babies!

This is disgusting! I just don’t know what is wrong with people?

We are all shaken with this story, I will write a warning right here up front and make it abundantly clear, this is a horrific story, if you cannot handle it, WALK AWAY AND DO NOT READ ANY FURTHER.

This is his story, and his suffering and to not tell his story isn’t fair, he mattered and he was abused in a way that we have never encountered.

Dr. Roach called me to tell me this dog is near death, he is in shock, he is septic, his temp is 93 degrees but what he said next shook me to my core, he said this dog has no a**l tone, and is bleeding from his re**um. He said it seems this dog has been abused, he has wounds that are not indicative of a dog attack. I hope you understand what we are saying, this dog had been sexually assaulted. What it seems that we have here is a psychopath animal abuser that this dog fell victim to. We are told he was found in a backyard that was locked, did he live there? Or was he discarded over a fence? We don’t know.

He said he has never encountered anything like it, and we have not either. It is beyond horrific, I cannot wrap my head around it. We deal with abuse, and suffering every single day, but never something like this.

Dr Roach is writing the report for the shelter to have and they will investigate and see what they can learn, but I hold little hope for there to be any kind of justice here for this sweet little man that never, ever ever should have had to endure a monster attacking him in this way. We thank Dr Roach and his staff for gently and quietly helping him over the bridge to end his suffering.

I simply cannot even comprehend. I need to just close the page after this, I don’t have a goodnight post, I have a horrible disgusting post, but it’s important that this dog got his story told, he did not die without his story being told. 😭

HEY YOU GUYS!!!

121 days.

That's how long Knox, Chile, and Tracker have been waiting for someone to say, "Yep...that's my dog."

These three came into the shelter together. They've shared the same journey, the same kennel runs, the same daily routine, and the same hope that every person walking through the door might be there for them.

The good news? They don't have to leave together.

Knox, Chile, and Tracker can each be adopted separately. They aren't a package deal. They're just three really good dogs who have somehow become three long-stay dogs.

Knox is the goofy friend who always finds the fun.

Chile is the loyal sidekick who sticks with her people through thick and thin.

Tracker is the cool little customer who rolls with life and always seems happy to be part of the adventure.

If you've ever watched The Goonies, you know the treasure wasn't really the gold. It was finding where you belonged.

These three have been searching for that treasure for 121 days.

A couch.A yard.A family.A home.

So here's your "HEY YOU GUYS!" reminder that some of the best dogs in East Ridge are still waiting.

Knox.Chile.Tracker.

Three fun-loving goons.

Three separate adoption opportunities.

One chance to change a life.

Come meet them. Their next adventure should start with you.
