Friends of The Paulding Library System

09/07/2026

Hello Friends! We’re excited to invite all current Friends of the Library members to Friends Fest, our special kickoff celebration! This event was originally planned for the 12th but was rescheduled because of conflicting library events.
Join us as we kick off another great year of supporting our libraries and communities. This is a wonderful opportunity to connect with fellow Friends, learn what’s ahead, and (for our current members) pick up the Friends of the Library swag bag included with your sign-up!
If you’re interested in becoming more involved or serving on the Friends of the Library Board, now is the perfect time to let us know. We’d love to talk with you about the opportunities available and how you can help!

Happy Friends Friday! Take a look at the first edition of the Friends Folio, a newsletter that provides our Friends of the Paulding Libraries with a look at how the Friends assist in the exciting activities and events that the Paulding County libraries provide for our community. This issue can be accessed by anyone, but future issues will go to Friends members only. If you are already a member of the Friends, you will receive subsequent newsletters automatically as part of our mailing list. For those who follow our page but aren't a member yet, message us to learn how to become one!

Check out this US Letter designed by Katie O. Anderson.

It has already been a week since our 1000 Books Before Kindergarten party, and we couldn’t have done it without a little help from our Friends! Thank you to our sponsor Hamco Sports INC. for helping make this event possible 🦖🦕

✨ Thank You! ✨

A huge thank you to everyone who came out on Tuesday to support Friends of the Library! Your presence, encouragement, and enthusiasm mean so much to us and to our library community.

📚 A HUGE and EXTRA SPECIAL thank you to Diletha Waldon, a local author, and Mark Sanker with HAMCO Sports for their donations, which will single-handedly support the library's 1000 Books Before Kindergarten Party AND the Summer Reading Program this upcoming summer. We could not have made this possible without both of you! 📚

A very special welcome to our newest members — we are so excited to have you join us! Together, we’re helping our library grow, serve, and thrive. 💛📚

If you weren’t able to attend but are interested in becoming a member, you can follow the link below to join us. We’d love to have you!
