Hello Hiram,

Thank you for your patience as we have been seeking for a date to reschedule our festivities and fireworks that were postponed from July 3rd. We believe we have something very special for all of us.

We will be collaborating with Hiram College to co-create a community festival on Monday, September 7th @ 6-9pm. There will be food, entertainment, music, and then fireworks to close out the night.

This will be a whole community event, and how great it will be to spend some time together with the whole community - Terriers included!

Hello Hiram,

Thank you for your patience as the committee continues to work on a date to reschedule the fireworks and festivities. As you may already know, it takes A LOT of partners and volunteers to throw such a party. We're getting close and we'll put out the word as soon as everything comes together.

Happy Fourth of July Hiram!!!

All of today's events are planned to proceed as scheduled.

After last night's storm (which was like a show of its own!), we are all set with our first event of the day leading off at 9am with the softball game. Whether you're able to participate in just one event or the whole day, we'll see you out there!

(And conversations are ongoing about rescheduling our fireworks - we will keep you posted).

Well Hiram, we've known that the heat has been miserable and now the forecast calls for thunderstorms starting tomorrow evening. The pyrotechnics crew has recommended that we reschedule the fireworks and we - regrettably - agree.

Hiram's fireworks and the festivities that go along with it (Swifty the Clown, Coyotes Mexican Food Truck, Icees and more) will be cancelled on July 3rd and rescheduled. The committee will be working with the company, vendors, and college to find another evening when we can all gather to celebrate our community and our nation.

ALL of the events scheduled for Saturday, July 4th WILL BE HELD as scheduled. So please do continue with your plans on July 4th and attend everything from the softball game to the parade, the community band concert to the big band performance and ice cream social.

Please share this news with your friends, family, and neighbors, and stay tuned for the announcement of our rescheduled date for fireworks.

Hello Hiram,

The July 4th Committee is planning and preparing for another wonderful program of events, starting with our fireworks on July 3rd. But we do need your help to get there.

The cost of pyrotechnics has increased (from $8,000 two years ago to $12,500 this year). The Hiram Community Trust has awarded us with an incredibly generous grant, but we are still short by $5,000.

Please consider making a donation and/or sharing news of this fundraiser so that we can meet our goal and kick off our event with our annual fireworks on July 3rd.
