Coming to Indianapolis for NASMM 2026? Take it from a local. 👀

Todd Emrick has called Indy home for more than 20 years, so we asked him where NASMM members should go when they find a little time outside the Conference schedule.

And he came prepared. ☀️

From First Friday at The Stutz and Factory Arts District, to some of his favorite restaurants and cocktail spots, to a few places you shouldn't leave Indianapolis without seeing - consider this your insider's starting point for exploring the city.

What do NASMM members remember most about Conference?

The education, absolutely. But ask members who have attended year after year, and you’ll hear just as much about the relationships, confidence, referrals, ideas and opportunities that followed them home.

These four NASMM members said it better than we could. ☀️

⚙️ Stronger systems and risk management?
🌱 A clearer plan for growth - or for building a business that works better at its current size?

Choose the conversations that matter most to you.

Some conference moments stay with you. ☀️

At NASMM's 2024 Annual Conference, members had the opportunity to learn from NASMM Founder Margit Novak during a Master Class with Artifcts.

It's one of the things that makes gathering together in person so valuable. The agenda tells you where to be and when - but it can't quite capture the conversations, stories, ideas and moments of perspective that happen once we're all in the room.

As we get ready to gather again for NASMM 2026 in Indianapolis, we'd love to hear from those of you who've been there before:

From October 1–4, Senior Move Managers® will gather in Indianapolis for four days of education, ideas, connection, and conversations about what it means to build The Business of Better.

And better doesn't necessarily mean bigger. It might mean better pricing. Better systems. Better hiring. Better communication. Better boundaries. Better client experiences. Better partnerships. Better leadership.

Sometimes it's learning what another Senior Move Manager® has already figured out. And sometimes it's sitting across the table from someone who understands exactly what you're dealing with because they've been there too. That's what we're building in Indianapolis.

☀️ NASMM was in Denver this weekend!

Board members Paige Rabon and Drina Nikola represented NASMM at the Society of Certified Senior Advisors Conference, connecting with professionals who serve older adults and sharing how Senior Move Managers® can support their clients and families through downsizing, relocation and aging in place.

And NASMM didn't just have a seat at the table - Paige took the stage.

Speaking to conference attendees before the keynote gave Paige an opportunity to introduce NASMM and Senior Move Management® to the larger CSA audience, and the conversations continued at the NASMM booth throughout the weekend.

There were also plenty of opportunities to connect with longtime friends of NASMM - including a run-in with Matt Paxton! 😊

Thank you, Paige and Drina, for giving your weekend to represent NASMM, build relationships, answer questions, and help more professionals understand the value Senior Move Managers® bring to the people they serve.

We know NASMM members are doing incredible things. We want to see them. ☀️

Every day, Senior Move Managers® are collaborating with one another, educating their communities, building referral relationships, celebrating milestones, sharing their expertise, solving complicated problems, and helping families navigate major life transitions.

And much of it never makes it onto NASMM's social media. We'd like to change that.

We're looking for more opportunities to show NASMM in action - not just at conference, but in communities across the country and beyond.
