Kit Kat has officially traded street life for the sweet life. 💙

At 5 years old, this big boy has lived a rough life on the streets. But you’d never know it now. Kit Kat is an absolute mush who has quickly discovered that indoor life—pats, cuddles, laps and lots of love—is pretty darn good.

He’s having his own Pretty Woman moment…complete with spa days from his wonderful foster family and a little serenading from his youngest fan. 🎶😂

He’s done surviving. Now he’s ready to be someone’s beloved boy.

Kit Kat is ready for his forever home. Apply to adopt him at Coastal Cat Rescue. 🐾💙

The winning names are officially… Archie & Edith! 🎉

Now, based purely on the first photo… guess which one is Archie. 😜😂

Don’t let that face fool you though — swipe over. There’s a pretty cute little guy hiding underneath all that grump. ❤️

☀️ UPDATE: Living his best life! ☀️

We absolutely LOVE getting updates like this from our CCR alumni. ❤️

Apparently, life after rescue is pretty exhausting… sunbeam found, belly up, fully stretched out, and not a care in the world. 😹

This is what forever is supposed to look like. Safe. Loved. Completely relaxed. And very, very spoiled.

Sweet dreams, little man. You’ve earned every single sunbeam. ☀️🐾💙

These little nuggets just came into our care! 🐾💙

Meet our newest brother-and-sister duo. They’re not quite ready for adoption yet — they’re both a little shy and need some time, patience, and socialization before they’re ready to find their forever homes.

But in the meantime… they need NAMES!

We have one little boy and one little girl, and we should probably warn you that the boy is already proving to be quite the little grumpster. 😂😾 His sister is a bit more reserved, but we’re working on winning them both over.

So let’s hear your best boy/girl name pairs! Bonus points if the boy’s name fits his adorably grumpy personality.

Drop your ideas below! 👇🐾.

💔 Althea is back with us, and our hearts are hurting for her.

Our beautiful, medium-haired black girl was recently returned to Coastal Cat Rescue. And right now, she’s confused, scared, and understandably unhappy.

Althea has always been a shy-at-first kind of girl. She needs a little time to feel safe and to learn that she can trust you. We knew that when she was adopted—and we also knew that, given patience and love, she would blossom.

And she did. ❤️

Althea was deeply loved in her last home. Sadly, sometimes circumstances change, even when the love doesn’t. Her owner is heartbroken, and we believe Althea is too.

Now this sweet girl has to start over.

We desperately hope she doesn’t have to wait long. Althea doesn’t need perfection. She needs someone patient enough to let her settle in, gentle enough to earn her trust, and committed enough to show her that this time, forever really does mean forever.

There is such a loving girl underneath that uncertainty. We’ve seen her blossom before, and we know she will again. She just needs someone willing to give her that second chance.

🐾 Could you be Althea’s forever this time?

Please share. Somewhere out there is the person, couple, or family who can mend this beautiful girl’s heart. 🖤
