"The only advice I can give to young dancers is to try to really trust their teachers more, and then stay with them longer, and try to understand why they are teaching this way or another way. And not just run around and try to get something."
-Mikhail Baryshnikov

Me and my "Clara's" along with a few others (as I finally get my photos together)

I am so proud of all my dancers at South Shore Ballet Theatre. They are dedicated, hardworking, kind, and considerate students (and their families are lovely too!). The Nutcracker shows were beautiful and I am beyond delighted to say the least.

A Huge Thank You to:

Dad/Drosselmeyer (Nick Pabst), Clara's mom, Vicki Gorder, Nanny/Friend Corey Sullivan Martin and all the party parents (Caroline, Anya, Kristin, Cynthia). You all were amazing!

The "real" parents - thank you for ushering, selling tickets, running endless water bottle runs, working the concession stand and making sure all our guests felt welcomed in addition to all the driving to rehearsals and classes and juggling all that comes with being a ballet parent - THANK YOU.

My students - Upper school you set the bar high and pushed even higher. Your technique and artistry grew stronger and everyone saw what I see every day - super talented students that are kind, caring, and understand how to work as a team (aka corps de ballet) Great job!!! Middle school students stepped up to be leaders for the Lower school and managed two roles this show. You were amazing! I always love seeing a students' first Nutcracker and my youngest dancers were terrific on that huge stage!
Thank you for your hard work and dedication. I love teaching you and watching you grow in all these roles.

To my guest artists Lila Jacobs, Elia Roger-Vivies and Kendra Frank - thank you for coming and performing. And thank you for leading the way and setting such good examples for my pre pro students.

I am especially grateful to my amazing faculty, who support me, my vision for the school, the training and the performances. Thank you for a wonderful weekend.

Thank you Chapman Middle School for having us this weekend. We look forward to working with you again.

Happy holidays everyone. Cheers to 2024!
