Today our Drill Team competed at our Regional Championship in Ware County. Our Teams placed in the following events, 1st place Unarmed Platoon Regulations, 2nd in Mix Male Color Guard, 3rd place in Mix Male Armed / Unarmed Squad, and Dual Exhibition Armed Dual. Congratulations to our Drill Team who qualified for the State Drill Competition in Griffin, GA on 23 March 2024.

Congratulations to the Liberty County Raider Teams for an outstanding year. The teams placed 1st and 2nd in the mixed group at their regional meet. Hats off to our seniors who missed senior night, due to them traveling to the State Competition in Spalding High School. The Team finished the season placing 3rd in tier 2 mixed group in the Fitness Challenge event. I salute our seniors C/LTC Frantz, C/ CSM Cauchon, C/CPT Tello, C/1SG Wrench, C/MSG Roberts, and C/ SGT Eggleston.

We honor our gold star members and their family.

Today is Gold Star Mother’s and Family’s Day. On this day, we pay tribute to those who know the cost of war, remembering and honoring the surviving families of fallen service members. They are the legacies of their service member’s ultimate sacrifice. Please take the time to thank a gold star family member and recognize the sacrifice that all Gold Star family members make when a loved one dies in service to our nation. We owe it to them to keep their legacy of service and sacrifice alive.
