We had a fantastic evening at the Oak Park Art League (OPAL) with the Wounded Warrior Project.

We hosted our monthly Intro to Art workshop here and invited guests to sketch using the art in our Breaking the Silence exhibit as inspiration.

It was a joy to see all the sketching happening both inside and outside the gallery. Scroll to the end to see a few of the drawings shared.

A huge thank you to Rachel McMillin and the Wounded Warrior Project for partnering up with us. And always to the Oak Park Art League (OPAL) for hosting.

We're bringing our August Intro to Art workshop to the gallery! Join NCAG and Wounded Warrior Project () at Oak Park Art League's Gallery After Dark for an evening inside Breaking the Silence, the exhibition of veteran-made work on view through September 6.

We'll be leading a workshop on observational sketching and journaling. Take time with the pieces you're drawn to, sketch what you see, write what you feel, or a combination of both.

All supplies are included, and thanks to , it's totally free!
No experience necessary. Come draw with us.

THANK YOU to everyone that came to our Artist Talks & Poetry Reading today at the Oak Park Art League (OPAL).

Artists Jerry Loza, Anna, Steve Kost - Metal Health Artwork and Michael Bever spoke about the inspirations for their work.

Our next event is Thursday Aug 20. We will be hosting an observational sketching/journaling workshop with the Wounded Warrior Project Wounded Warrior Project. All are welcome!
