🐾 What About Pets at the War Eagle Fair?
We know you love your pets—we love ours, too! But one of the questions we receive every year is, “Can I bring my dog?”
For the safety and comfort of our guests, vendors, and animals, pets are not permitted on the War Eagle Fair grounds.
While our rural setting may seem pet-friendly, Fair weekend brings very large crowds, which can be overwhelming for animals and create safety concerns. Even dogs that are wonderful at home, on trails, or around town can become overwhelmed in a busy environment filled with unfamiliar people, noises, smells, food, children, and other animals.
There are a few important reasons for our policy:
🐾Leashes can become tripping hazards in crowded aisles.
🐾 Not every dog is comfortable or friendly with unfamiliar people or other animals, and interactions between dogs can be unpredictable.
🐾 Pet waste is a sanitation concern, especially when it isn’t noticed or cleaned up.
🐾 Our artisans spend countless hours creating and displaying their work. We cannot risk merchandise, booth displays, tents, or other property being damaged or marked by pets.
Trained service animals are, of course, welcome. Please respect their tasks and limits.
You may see a dog at the Fair. It may be a trained service animal—or it may belong to someone not following the rules. Seeing another dog does not mean pets are permitted.
We understand that some guests may be disappointed by this policy, but we ask that you please leave pets safely at home rather than in your vehicle. ❤️
PLEASE NOTE: This policy applies to the War Eagle Fair, located exclusively on the WEST SIDE of the War Eagle Bridge. Events on the east side of the bridge are operated separately by our neighbors and are not part of the official War Eagle Fair. Their pet policies may be different.
Thank you for helping us keep the War Eagle Fair safe, comfortable, clean, and enjoyable for everyone. 🦅🍂 if
