🌤️ Kentucky Weather Update

Kentucky is seeing a cold and cloudy start to the week, with breezy conditions and a chance of a few snow showers today. Temperatures will stay on the chilly side early in the week, but warmer weather is on the way!

🌡️ Expect temperatures to gradually warm up through the week, reaching the 60s by Thursday and possibly the 70s by the weekend.

As always, changing weather can impact our farms, livestock, and travel plans. Stay prepared and keep an eye on local forecasts.

🌾 Knott County Farm Bureau is here to support our agriculture community and members through every season.

If you have questions about protecting your home, farm, or vehicles, the team at Knott County Farm Bureau is here to help.

Please join us in welcoming Jon Adams as the new Agency Manager for Knott County Farm Bureau. 💙🌾

Jon has been part of the Kentucky Farm Bureau family since December of 2022 and is originally from Letcher County. We are grateful to have someone who values community and service leading our office.

Outside of work, Jon enjoys spending time with family, traveling, and reading — things that remind us how important family and community truly are.

At Knott County Farm Bureau, our members are more than customers — they’re neighbors and friends. We look forward to the care, leadership, and heart Jon will bring as we continue serving the farmers, families, and community we’re proud to call home.

Please help us give Jon Adams a warm welcome to Knott County!

Today, we honor Michael Fannin for 40 years of dedicated service to the members of Knott County Farm Bureau.

Mike began his career as an agent with Knott County Farm Bureau and through hard work, leadership, and commitment, advanced to the role of Agency Manager. Throughout his career, he went above and beyond for both our members and our community.

Mike played an important role in Knott County—not only as a professional, but as a true friend and supporter. His impact can be seen through his sponsorship of KCC sports, involvement in Relay for Life, participation in Shop with a Trooper, generous donations to local schools and Christmas programs, and his sponsorship of the Ambassador Company, helping send books to elementary schools throughout Knott County through their character education program as well as his support of the Knott County Trail Ride and Knott County 4-H.

Mike will be greatly missed and has left a lasting impact on our office, our community, and the many lives he touched along the way.

Knott County Farm Bureau was truly honored to have him, and we are forever grateful for his years of service. 💙🕊️
