Patches is just the best...He is so affectionate and cuddly and loves all the attention. But he doesn't really like to share that attention. He is about 5 ish years old, we think. He is fixed, up to date on vaccines, and chipped. He does have stomatitis and he is having a dental to have all his teeth removed July 8th but after he heals he will be healthy and happy for the rest of his life (at least with what we know of now). He doesnt' like other cats though and he might be okay with a calm, very disinterested dog. He is okay with kids if they are respectful (does fine with the toddler in his foster home). Turkey Tina and Big John...The last two from kitten season last year...How we still have these two we can't even imagine. They are perfect...They are great with other cats, fine with dogs, love people of all ages. They are bonded now as they are brother and sister who grew up together and are now just over 1 yr old. They are very sweet, affectionate cats who love to play but also love attention as well. They are very well mannered kids who really deserve their turn. Another amazing pair of seniors are Spock and Kirk. These are also a bonded pair of 10-15 year old male cockatiels that also came from rough conditions and are doing well on their zupreem fruit blend diet. These boys have a very bird friendly foster home and have been able to have some time in the outdoor aviary. They were really nervous at first but seemed to enjoy it. They will not always willingly come out of their cage but we are hoping they will learn that it is a fun thing to fly around. Slyvester and Tweety are a bonded pair of old men...Kind of like the movie grumpy me...They love each other's company and need to be adopted as a pair but can bicker at times. They came in from poor conditions and while they have healed they need to be kept on a high end diet and plenty of space to prevent plucking again. They have finally figured out some toys and are doing well with zupreem fruit blend pellets. They are terrified of people so they are looking for a home where they can have a large cage to stay in but will not want to come out and don't want to be touched. Although they do enjoy a conversation. These old men are around 10-15 years old and would love a nice quiet home to enjoy their retirement in.
