Thank You for Making World Heart Rhythm Week 2026 a Success ❤️

Last week, our global community came together for World Heart Rhythm Week 2026 under the theme “Your Heart, Your Rhythm, Your Story.”

We heard powerful stories from patients, families, and healthcare professionals across the world, helping to raise awareness of heart rhythm disorders and the real-life impact they have every day.

Alongside these stories, we also explored key facts and treatment options, supporting greater understanding and empowerment for those affected.

A huge thank you to our partners, supporters, and everyone who took part. Your engagement helped amplify voices, spark conversations, and strengthen global awareness.

Together, we continue to show that every heart has a rhythm - and every rhythm has a story.

The recent news involving Christian Eriksen is a powerful reminder that defibrillators save lives.

After surviving a cardiac arrest in 2021, Eriksen was fitted with an Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillator (ICD). Reports indicate that his ICD responded appropriately during a recent medical incident, helping to protect him when it mattered most.

Every second counts in a cardiac emergency. Whether it is a public access defibrillator or an implanted device, access to life-saving treatment can make all the difference.

Join our campaign and help raise awareness of the importance of defibrillators in communities, workplaces, schools and sports venues: https://loom.ly/n1XrL1E

Ventricular fibrillation (VF) is the most commonly identified heart rhythm disorder in cardiac arrest patients and is present in around 70% of cardiac arrests.

Cardiac arrest can happen without warning — and every second counts. An AED can shock the heart back to a normal rhythm.

By raising awareness of heart rhythm disorders, CPR, and access to defibrillators, more lives can be saved

At just two weeks old, Morgan's only symptom was poor feeding.

What his family did not know was that he was experiencing SVT (supraventricular tachycardia), with his heart racing at 300 beats per minute. Within hours, he required multiple cardioversions, specialist care and emergency transfers between hospitals. Today, thanks to early diagnosis and treatment, Morgan is a happy, thriving little boy.

Melissa's story is a powerful reminder that parents know their children best. Trusting her instincts helped save her son's life.

If their experience resonates with you, please share this post to help raise awareness of SVT in babies and children. Your share could help another family recognize the signs and seek medical advice sooner.

Women are twice as likely to develop paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia (PSVT) compared to men, while older adults face an even greater risk.

Fast heart rhythms, palpitations, dizziness, and sudden episodes of racing heartbeat should never be ignored.

Awareness leads to earlier diagnosis, treatment, and support.
