Announcement!! 📣 We have a new Pastor at Hilmar First Baptist!

After many months of hurting, healing and praying together, our church body is stepping into a new season of leadership and we give God all the glory! 🙌🏻

We are so thrilled to announce that Drew Longacre has been successfully voted in as our new pastor. Drew and his family have been serving along side us for a few years now and we are so grateful that the Lord has called them to serve in this new role.

Here’s a little about Drew:

Drew Longacre loves studying and teaching God’s word. He holds a B.A. and M.Div. from the Master’s University and Seminary and a Ph.D. from the University of Birmingham (UK). He has also done research in Finland, the Netherlands, and Israel, focusing on the texts, languages, and manuscripts of the Old Testament.

Drew regularly teaches university and seminary courses on the Bible, and he is passionate about making God known through the scriptures in a clear, faithful, and transformative way. He has been married to his wife Michelle for 16 years, and they have three wonderful children: Victoria, Gloria, and Jerome.

Happening THIS SUNDAY! Come join us! Bring a chair (or we will have some available) and bring a friend. We're going to have BBQ burgers, hot dogs, and all the sides to go with them. We will play some bingo and, of course, hear the word of God! We hope to see you there! ✝️🍔🌭🍉🍇🍪
