We will be accepting cull rabbits this weekend for anyone who has rabbits they would like to cull from their herd.

📍 Drop-Off: Small Animal Barn

👤 Rabbits must be received by Superintendent Andie Clark

This is open to anyone who has rabbits they would like to cull- you do not have to be a current exhibitor.

⚠️ Rabbits will need to remain in their carriers overnight, so please make sure they are brought in an appropriate, secure carrier.

Please plan accordingly for both drop-off and carrier pick-up. 🐰

Small Animal Housekeeping (for all animals in the Small Animal Barn, Dairy Goat Quonset Hut, Waterfowl Pen and the Meat-Type Goats in the Large Animal Barn)

Please make sure you are doing chores 2X a day (chores need to be completed before 10 am in the morning and 8 pm at night). This means stripping cages with fresh bedding in the morning and freshening up in the evening (if your cage is a disaster - please strip it again). Dairy goat pens need cleaned regularly and fresh bedding added daily. You must also give fresh clean water at least 2X a day along with making sure your small animal feed pan is filled. Dairy goat feed pans need removed from the pen when your goat finishes eating, not left in the pen all day.

If your club has signed up for waterfowl chores, those need to be completed 2X a day as well.

Additionally, you should be helping keep the barn isles clean.

We are show casing these animals and that means we want to look good for all the fair goers.

We still need 2 more clubs to sign up for waterfowl chores - Friday and Saturday are still open. You can respond here or there is a sign up in the small animal barn 😊

Auction information:

Please don’t forget ALL kids must attend the 4:30 pm pre Auction meeting on Thursday 10/1/26 in the Small Animal Barn

If your selling in the auction - You must bring your own rabbit and goat to/from the auction

If you are selling birds: ALL Grand Champion & Reserve Champion kids MUST help load/unload your birds onto the trailer going to/from the sale at 3:30 pm 10/1/26.
