, what makes you grateful? We asked our clubs to think about this question throughout November and we are grateful to share their answers, and actions!
In addition to over $7,000 raised for new bathrooms on campus, Mukwashi Trust School received a book donation this month from the Pelican Post, a UK charity, through patron and author, Ellen Banda Aaku and the world of the "The Joy of Giving" founder, Joy Lewanika. To celebrate and practice thankfulness, Mukwashi’s older students spent time reading the new books with the preschoolers. Students of all ages shared what they were most grateful for with BoPH clubs around the world!
The answers from Mukwashi were displayed alongside answers from AIS Vienna on Vienna’s Thankful Board! AIS Vienna also raised money for their Mukwashi family with a Thankful Bake Sale. What a sweet way to celebrate a special friendship!
Students at East Ridge Middle School raised over $2,000 for Mukwashi with their Annual Thanksgiving Pie Sale! Members of the Student Council shared what makes them grateful with one another and BoPH to get in the spirit!
John was thankful to visit the growing club at AIS Danbury and shared wonderful news with the group! Together they send a video of welcome to his first grandchild, Ella Ann Brady, born the day of their meeting, November 28th 💗
As our month of comes to a close, BoPH would like to thank the club members and supporters we are so grateful to have! Your generosity and spirit have filled this month with meaning and never ceases to inspire us. We are excited for all the joy and blessings December had to bring!
Thank you for building bridges of gratitude with us this month!
