The Vowel Foundation The VOWEL Foundation is a non-profit organization supporting schools educating underprivileged children with Autism. Maya has a younger sibling with autism.

The Vowel Foundation was started in November 2012, by Maya Karkhanis. Realizing that not all children with autism were fortunate enough to go to schools as nice as her sister’s, Maya decided to start raising money for schools that helped children with autism in underprivileged neighborhoods. The two main goals of the foundation are to provide funding for educational tools in schools serving childr
