🎥 We were honored to share this video with the I/DD Legislative Caucus as part of a discussion on supported employment and EIPD’s role in advancing competitive integrated employment opportunities across North Carolina.

Meet Ishan, a valued member of the Harris Teeter team! Hear from his coworkers, managers, and OE staff about the impact he makes every day, the role of a job coach in his success, and why community employment is about so much more than a job. It's about belonging, contributing, and being a valued teammate.

And Ishan’s next goal? Becoming Employee of the Year! 🏆👏

🌈 This Disability Pride Month, we're highlighting the meaning behind the Disability Pride Flag.
❤️ Physical disabilities
💛 Neurodiversity
🤍 Invisible & undiagnosed disabilities
💙 Psychiatric disabilities & mental health conditions
💚 Sensory disabilities
The diagonal stripes represent overcoming barriers, and the flag as a whole celebrates the diversity, resilience, and contributions of the disability community.
Let's continue building workplaces and communities where everyone feels valued, included, and empowered to succeed.
