Celebrating over 40 years of serving the less fortunate of northern Orange County, NC. Founded in 1981.

Orange Congregations In Mission is a private non-profit ministry composed of close to 50 congregations in northern Orange County, North Carolina. As a human services organization, OCIM strives to meet the emergency needs of those who find themselves in a crisis situation.

⚠️ NOTICE OF EARLY CLOSURE ⚠️

Due to a planned power outage by Duke Energy, all OCIM ministries (including the Thrift Shop) will close on Thursday, June 11th at 12:00 PM.

We will resume normal operations and reopen on Friday, June 12th.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as this necessary utility work is completed. Thank you for your continued support of OCIM and the neighbors we serve throughout northern Orange County. 💙

🇺🇸💛 This Memorial Day, we remember and honor those who gave their lives in service to our country.

We are grateful for the courage, sacrifice, and dedication of the men and women who served so others could live in freedom.

As we spend time with family and friends today, may we also pause to remember those who are grieving, those who served, and the many sacrifices made for our communities and nation.

Wishing everyone a safe and meaningful Memorial Day.

Many thanks to the Hillsborough Post Office mail carriers for collecting over 900 pounds of food from our amazing community during the food drive! 🙌

A special thank you as well to the Hummingbird 4-H Club for helping with the loading and unloading of all the donations. Your hard work and willingness to serve made a huge difference! 🌟

We are so grateful for everyone who gave, served, and supported this effort to help local families in need.

If you live in Hillsborough, you can help support OCIM and local families with one simple act of kindness! 💛

Just place your non-perishable food donation in a bag by your mailbox, and your letter carrier will pick it up and deliver it directly to OCIM! 🙌

It’s an easy way to make a BIG difference in our community!
